The Vampire Diaries premiered in the year 2009 was directed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. The TV series was an American Supernatural Teen Tv drama series that is primarily based on the popular book series “The Vampire Diaries” written by L.J Smith.

The Tv series premiered on The CW television network on September 9, 2009, concluding eight seasons with 171 episodes on March 10, 2017. Firstly the twilight movie came into the light in the year 2008 that showcased vampires then True Blood also brought that year and now The Vampire Diaries.

The Tv series starred Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore, Steven R. McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert(Elena’s Younger Brother), Sara Canning as Jenna Sommers, Kat Graham as Bonnie Bennett(Elena’s Best friend), Candice King as Caroline Forbes(Elena’s Best Friend), Jack Roerig as Matt Donovan(Mutual Friend), Kayla Ewell as Vicki Donovan(Matt’s older sister), Michael Trevino as Tyler Lockwood(Mutual Friend), Matthew Davis as Alaric Saltzman(History teacher), Joseph Morgan as Original Vampire Klaus Mikaelson and Michael Malarkey as Enzo St. John.

Supernatural energies

The Vampire Diaries, Tv series was shot in Virginia, a fictional town famed for its supernatural energies. The series portrayed the life of a young teenage girl Elena Gilbert who had recently lost her parents in a car accident. She falls in love with a vampire Stefan Salvatore. When Stefan’s brother Damon Salvatore returns to bring their past love Katherine Pierce, who earlier was a vampire-like them. Elena looks exactly like Katherine Pierce.

Firstly Damon shows hatred to his brother Stefan for forcibly making him the vampire and later he falls in love with Elena causing a love triangle among them. Both brothers face villains and threats, as well as Katherine, emerges as a villain. They both protect Elens from all the mischiefs and evils. Later when the series goes on, the history, their formation into vampires and the town’s mythology got revealed and also the Founder’s family comprising of Founder’s Council that guards the town Virginia from threats and vampires like werewolves, hybrids, witches, and spirits.
The Tv series was amazing and have won Teen Choice Awards in 7 categories in 2010. The show got nominated in 12 categories of Teen Choice Awards, nominated for People’s Choice Awards from 2010 to 2017 and has won many awards in the suited categories.

The Vampire Diaries Tv series was filled with mythologies depicting the existence of Vampires and their supernatural kinds of stuff. Twilight didn’t even mention these and True Blood overwhelmed it. The series mostly focused on the fights among vampires and werewolves and witches.

Own rules

The series also introduces hybrid werewolves as vampire hunters and also some new creative creatures like doppelgangers, vampire serial killers who are commonly known as rippers and Klaus the original and first vampire. Vampire diaries used its own rules other than any other shows. The series showcased vampires on the first and their love relationship with humans on the second. The Vampire Diaries showcased all of its best from filming and storyline to its action and romance among vampires and a human.
