The Price for Silence – family drama

An American movie, the Price for Silence, is a drama and family genre movie. Tony Germinario and Lynn Mancinelli are the creators of the film.

The movie was directed by Tony Germinario and produced by Lynn Mancinelli, George Stohr, Bill Timoney, and Tony Germinario. It also includes Brendan Contant, Kent Perkocha, Arshad Quadri, and Rob Vanderbeek as the executive producers. Emrhys Cooper and Catherine Hogan were also associate producers for the movie, the Price of Silence.

Paul Carbonara did the honors of composing the music for the movie.

The cinematographer for the movie is Mike Henchanova, with Kelley Wright as the production designer.

The Price for Silence was produced under Vicenzo Productions and distributed by Indie Rights Movies.

The movie was released at different times in different countries. It was released at the Chelsea Film Festival NY premiere on the 19th of October, 2018, at the International Film Festival of Wales (UK) on the 17th of November, 2018, at the Beaufort International Film Festival on the 21st of February, 2019, at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema on the 7th of March and the Garden State Film Festival on the 30th of March, 2019. It officially went out on the 26th of July 2019 after the Los Angeles, California premiere.

Cast and Characters

The movie is mainly the story of a young woman in her 30s – Kira, who suffers from severe post-traumatic disorder from being assaulted as a teenager. She tries to get help but still is unable to heal. She soon took solace in drinking and extravagant life. After the death of her father, she returns home to the same environment she is trying to run away from. Her past begins to haunt her as nightmares become worse. She had to tell her dark secret to her family – her brother (Lucas) and her mom (Sheila). With no choice, she soon set out on a mission to get justice and revenge.

The movie stars a woman suffering from psychological pain – Kira Flynn by Lynn Mancinelli, the leading character, her brother – Lucas Flynn by Richard Thomas and their mother – Sheila Flynn by Kristin Carey. Other characters in the movie, the Price of Silence, include the wealthiest man in town – Richard Davenport by Richard Thomas, Aiden Davenport by Jon McCormick, Victor by Armin Amiri, Deana by Martha Madison, the funeral director by Steve Vinovich, Mayor Winston by Ethan Philips, George Flynn by Bob Leszcazk along with others.

Summary

A young woman soon realizes that she cannot overcome her past unless she faces it. Her father’s death brings her back to where it all began.
