Love is beautiful when found in the right person. Often, what would become a magical romantic relationship might not start as such. Some romance starts from friendships, others in a more spontaneous way, like a one-night stand. The latter is the case of Brody (Skylar Astin) and Jenny (Briga Heelan). After a one-off sexual encounter, Brody – a successful banker who works at the Remington Trust – finds out that Jenny works in the maintenance department of his company. Jenny’s department is located on the ground floor of the building – hence, the series title.
The duo begin to develop emotional feelings for each other as time went on. Their love affair began to put off their co-workers, especially those on the ground floor.
They try to find a balance between their newfound love and their widely different workspace.
This sitcom is filled with humor and giggles. It is a seamless blend of romance and comedy. The series has 2 seasons and 20 episodes. With each episode lasting just 30 minutes, this should be a quick binge watch for sitcom lovers.
